Khatib: Muballigh-e-Islam Hazrat ‘Allamah Maulan Pir Maulana Syed Saadat Ali Qadri (r.a.)
Renowned Islamic scholar, Muballigh-e-Islam Hazrat ‘Allamah Maulan Pir Maulana Syed Saadat Ali Qadri (r.a.) born in Aligarh, India in 1935, he was the son of Mufti Syed Masood Ali Qadri (r.a.). Maulana Syed Saadat Ali graduated from Darul-Uloom Anwarul-Uloom Multan, where his teachers included the great Islamic scholar Maulana Allama Ahmad Saeed Shah Kazmi. He also did his MA in Islamic studies from Karachi University and remained teacher at Dehli College and Mary Classo Saddar.
He was one of the founders of Jamaat Ahle Sunnat. Jamiat Ulama-e-Pakistan participated in 1970`s election and after the election he migrated to Surinam, South America. During his time there, he founded Al-Qadri Islamic Center. At that time, Ahmadi group was very active in Surinam and he faced a very tough time organizing the Muslims there. As a Islamic preacher, many of his accomplishments in Surinam include starting the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Juloos) for the first time in the country`s history, as well as introducing the ‘Islamic flag’ to the people.
In 1975, after the independence of Surinam from being a Dutch colony, Maulana Saadat Ali Qadri migrated to Holland. He started his activities there, mainly based in Amsterdam and as well as covering the surrounding areas of Luxemburg, Paris, Belgium, France, England, and more. He founded Al-Qadri Islamic Centre in Denhaag. Other than lecturing on auspicious occasions, his most important priority was his writings.
Muballigh-e-Islam Hazrat ‘Allamah Maulan Pir Maulana Syed Saadat Ali Qadri (ramatullâh ‘alaih) speaks about Isra and Mi’raj, and the position of the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him).
